BISMARCK - Lily Elaine Barbee, age 55, of Springfield, Missouri, left this life on March 22, 2013, at Mercy Hospital.
Lily was born July 30, 1957, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, the daughter of Harvey and Barbara Wells. She was a graduate of Leadwood High School.
Lily married Gary Barbee December 21, 1974, and began her married life in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Wells.
Lily is survived by her mother Barbara Wells of Park Hills, Missouri; her husband Gary and her daughter Amy Burks and her husband Shawn of Springfield, Missouri, and her grandson Kensen Burks; one brother Dennis Wells of Park Hills, Missouri; two sisters, Connie Sheldon of Arnold, Missouri, and Lorrie Merrill and her husband Mark of Irondale, Missouri; as well as many relatives and friends.
Lily will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew her.
A memorial visitation for Lily will be held near Lily's home town at The First Baptist Church of Bismarck, Missouri from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2013.
Special thanks are to be given to Lily's relatives and friends for their support during her illness. Additional thanks should be given to her longtime friends, Norman and Cindy Baldwin and her Greenlawn family for supporting her during the good times as well as the tough times.
As per Lily's wishes, her body will be cremated and later interred at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
