FARMINGTON -- Lola Mae (Pope) Huber Ruble McCann, 91, of Farmington passed away November 8, 2018, at Woodhaven Village Senior Living in Conroe, Texas. She was born April 22, 1927, in Flat River to the late William O. Pope, Sr. and Corena M. (Halter) Pope. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie C. Huber; second husband, Robert "Bob" Ruble; third husband, Michael G. McCann; daughter, Terri McCall; brother, William "Bill" Pope, Jr.
Lola is survived by her daughter, Joy Baker and husband Benton, son, David Huber and wife Monica. Five step-children, Mike Ruble, Susan Ruble Basile, David Ruble, Lynn McCann Russell, and Gail McCann Sobel. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Lola was an avid golfer and was one of the last living Founding Members of The St. Francois Country Club in Farmington. Lola and her first Husband Leslie Huber also founded L & L Fashions, a local ladies dress shop that Lola operated on Columbia Street in Downtown Farmington. One of the last of "The Greatest Generation", her wisdom and wit will be missed by her many friends and family.
A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, November 19, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
