Mikayla Dillyn Jones
DESLOGE – Mikayla Dillyn Jones, age 18, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was born on Friday, May 31, 2002, in Joplin, to Scott and Stacie (Stewart) Jones.
Mikayla was a graduate of Central High School Class of "2020" where she was a straight "A" student. She enjoyed playing volleyball and track. Mikayla loved listening to music, singing, dancing and drawing. She had an infectious laugh and was fun and loving to be around. In her spare time, she enjoyed children and would help at her grandparent's daycare. Her future plans were to become a nurse like her mother.
Mikayla was preceded in death by her grandmother, Yvonne Clark; great-grandmother, Dorothy "Granny Tead" Weir.
Mikayla is survived by her parents; siblings, Colton and fiancé Tiffany Sullivan, Quenton, and Jocelyn Jones; grandparents, Floyd and Brenda Stewart, and Jeff Clark; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends survive.
Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel on Wednesday May 26, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Deacon Scott Vandergraph officiating. One of the sweetest girls I ever met. I met her back in 2018 and she welcomed me into her home. We hungout in her basement & and ate pizza with some mutual friends, and I won't forget how generous and sweet she was to me.
