Randy Gonz
STE. GENEVIEVE – Randy Gonz, of Ste. Genevieve, passed away suddenly at his home on August 10, 2023, at the age of 60. He was born on May 17, 1963, in Bonne Terre, to Robert Gonz and the late Doris (Tucker) Gonz. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, his niece, Gwendolyn Blue McDaniel, and his mother-in-law, Janet Williams.
Randy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tracy (Williams) Gonz of Ste. Genevieve, his children, Mandy Tedder of Avon, Missouri, Jennifer (Jay) Colclasure of Indianola, Iowa, and Waylon (Holly) Gonz of Farmington, his grandchildren, Logan Wheetley, Riley Damron, Wyatt Tedder, Levi Tedder, Jordan Heob, and Gracie Heob, his father, Robert (Laverne) Gonz of Avon, MO, his siblings, Kenny (Jodi) Gonz of Las Vegas, NV, Denny (Angie) Gonz of Doe Run, Drew (Marcy) Gonz of Ste. Genevieve, and Tanya (Tim) Borcherding of Bloomsdale, Missouri, his father-in-law, Robert Williams of Farmington, many nieces, nephews, friends, and his special canine companion, Smoky Joe.
Randy worked as a laborer for Local 1104. He was a very kind person who always helped others and loved his family dearly. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, NASCAR especially Ryan Newman, and working on cars. Randy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 7 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment to follow at Pine Log Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, 1972 Innerbelt Business Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141.
