FARMINGTON – Roger Dale Hoehn, 70, of Farmington passed away March 7, 2022, in his home of natural causes. He was born September 13, 1951, in Bonne Terre, graduated from Farmington High School, and attended the University of Missouri – Columbia where he studied political science. He then returned to Farmington where he raised his family and served for many years as the city administrator. He enjoyed tending to his farm, working with his son, spending time with his family and hanging at the bar with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Jean and Shirley Ann (Rhodes) Hoehn; and one sister, Jennifer Roberts.
Roger is survived by three children, Beverly Alten, Roger Hoehn, Jr. and wife Ruth Ann, Melanie Hoehn; seven grandchildren, Christian (Rebecca) Alten, Samuel Alten, Gabriel Alten, Amelia Alten, Benjamin Alten, Charles Hoehn and Jonathan Hoehn; two sisters, Suzanne Greminger and husband Dick, Carla Miranda; uncle, David Hoehn. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel with Rev. Ron Beaton officiating. Interment will follow at Copenhagen Cemetery in Farmington. View obituary and share condolences online at www.czboyer.com.
