FARMINGTON -- Roy Edward Steinc of Farmington passed away on February 10, 2005, at Missouri Baptist Hospital, at the age of 52 years.
He was born on November 10, 1952, in St. Louis, the son of the late Charles Steinc Jr. and Pauline (Ballard) Steinc.
Mr. Steinc worked as a security guard at the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. He had worked at the hospital for 31 years.
He is survived by his wife Patsy (Hoehn) Steinc, two sons, Edward Steinc and Troy Steinc, a daughter, Cindy (Mrs. James) Vaughn, all of Farmington, four brothers, Phil (Pam), Jimmy, Donald and Rickey Steinc, sister, Wanda (Mrs. Les) Shelton, and three grandchildren, Katheryn Bradley and Hunter. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2005. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will follow at the Genevieve Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Complete obituary is online at: www.cozeanfuneralhome.com.
