The Frantz Family
February 1, 2025
Our family was just remembering Chris last night. One day he saw us outside and called us over to see a baby Great Horned Owl behind his shed. Chris
thought it was the coolest thing and so did we. Then we all realized there was probably a mama Great Horned Owl watching us so we took off, laughing. Chris was tough, but he also had a wonderful gentleness about him.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family of a childhood friend from a long time ago. Chris was a great guy and a good friend to everyone he knew growing up. I'm very sad to hear of his passing but very glad to see he had such a wonderful life and family. He deserved that. God bless you Chris, may I see you again someday.

On Friday, February 5, 2016, our family lost a really great guy. Chris, you were one of a kind. Everyone that knew you loved you! We could always count on you if we needed a helping hand! You have always been a wonderful and loving husband to my sister Beckie and a loving father to Melissa, Lynette and Louis. As sad as it is to know you are gone, you are no longer in pain. We all love you and will miss you more than words can express. Take care. We will see you on the other side.

Chris,
There are no words I can say or anything I can do to bring you back to us. The only thing I do know is you are out of pain and in a better place. You were one of a kind and always made me laugh. I am proud to call you my brother and one day we will meet again. In the meantime just remember I will miss you but always love you.
Love,
Mary

I sit in disbelief as I look at the picture slide show. How can this be! We knew each other as kids. Hung around the gas station and bowling alley. Your bother married my sister. Now your gone but you will not be forgotten. Rest in peace Chester, we will all be united again someday.

As I think back is it possible I've known you for 49 years? When your brother Dick and I were married you were in the wedding, kept the jokes coming so no one would be nervous. Our growing family has so many good memories of time spent together. Chris you've taught us no matter how serious life gets we all need someone to act goofy with, that the those every day small things make life amazing and that life is tough but I'm tougher. We will miss you very much but when thinking of you, it will always bring a smile. Rest in peace our brother until we meet again.

Chris, I was thinking how is it possible that 49 years ago we met? When your brother Dick and I were married 2 years later you were in our wedding keeping the jokes going so no one would be nervous. Dick and I have shared so many good memories with you through the years. You've taught from example to live life to the fullest, no matter how serious life is we all need a friend to act goofy with and when you are in love it shows. I've called you brother for 47 years, we'll try not take life seriously. You will be missed but thoughts of you will always make us smile. Rest in peace Chris.
