Daryl R. Fleck

Daryl R. Fleck of Coatesville Daryl R. Fleck, 68, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was the husband of Barbara Hales Fleck, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, he was the son of the late Byron and Phyllis Bridgeman Fleck. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Delaware and a Master’s Degree from West Chester University in Psychology. He worked for LNP, Inc. for almost 30 years retiring in 2006. He was previously employed at Handi-Crafters in Thorndale. He enjoyed music, books, movies but most of all spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Daryl is survived by his children, Brian and his wife, Lisa, Daniel and his wife, Katherine, Dylan and her husband, Shawn Wright; grandchildren, Brendon, Emma, Henry; siblings, Anne Kaczorowski and Philip Fleck. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134, where the family will receive guests starting at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery.
