Dear David; I'm so very sad you had to leave us so suddenly and so soon. Marcia and Jo and Evan, and their families, love you very much, and your presence in their lives was a testimony to love and kindness. Thank you for being such a wonderful and comprehensive man.

Marcia, Joanna and Evan,
I was so sad to hear of David's passing. Some of my best memories are of visiting you guys in the summer. My love and sympathy go out to all of you.

You have my deepest sympathy, Marcia. David was such a kind and gentle soul. I always admired that about him. He did such fine, meticulous work for me, photographing my brass hardware with such care and patience. He had real talent with his photography.
I am so sorry for your loss.

To Marcia and family,
I cannot improve on what was said above ...'David was indeed a tender soul and a brilliant and fascinating person'... except to add True Gentleman to the list. My greatest pleasure working at the library was to be on a shift with Dave.
May God be most pleased with him and comfort, help, guide, and protect you, Marcia.
Most affectionately,
Barbara & Muhammad Lowe

Have know Dave well over 20 years. Corresponded regularly with him dealing with Railway Post Office and Highway Post Office information. He was always willing to assist me with data or information and we worked well together with auction items every now and then.
I will miss working and kibitzing with him immensely.

I was shocked and sorry to hear about David. He and Marcia have been great friends from our college days. Even though I live far away now, the Gentrys have often been in my thoughts. David was indeed a tender soul and a brilliant and fascinating person.

To Dave's family, he was an awesome photographer but more over a VERY nice gentleman. We at PAC Strapping will miss him very much.

David was a great fellow and patient man. I knew him from his photograpy shoots of furniture. He was very talented at his work. Always spoke well of his wife and children in conversations. Telling of "what's new" in his life. His family was important to him. Also seeing him at the library when Marsha would teach our three kids a art class will be a great memory. He will be greatly missed.
