David P. Willis, Jr., 87, of Downingtown, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Meadowood Senior Living, with his family by his side. He was the husband of Patricia (Moore) Willis. Born in Barrington, New Jersey on April 24, 1936, he was the son of the late David P. Willis, Sr. and Marion (Simon) Willis. David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business with a degree in Economics. He went on to become the CEO and President of Whitford Worldwide Corporation. He certainly excelled at his career and was dedicated to his work. Surviving in addition to his wife Pat are his children Brian M. Willis (Sharon), Geoffery M. Willis (Carol), Anne S. Willis, Sally L. Willis, Darby C. Willis, and Ian C. Willis (Winston), step-children Gary Olson (Susan) and Gayle Olson; grandchildren Jason Willis, Diana Willis, Hannah Willis, Sydney Willis, Eduardo Perez-Willis, Alejandro Perez-Willis, Elena Perez-Willis, step-grandchildren Nicholas Olson and Michael Olson; great grandchild Peyton; and a brother Robert L. Willis (Dianne). Relatives and friends are invited to an evening viewing on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 5 â€" 7 PM at James J. Terry Funeral Home â€" COATESVILLE, 1060 W. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320. Funeral services will be private.
