Doug and I attended PSP Southeast training center Municipal Police Academy in 1986. We had a blast. I saw him at Nazareth motor speedway with the chopper and we caught up. I knew where he was living and was on duty when i heard the reports. So sorry for your loss.

As an employee at the Reading Airport, I saw Doug many times as I walked to and from our hangar. He always had a smile on his face and you knew how very much he loved flying. We had many chats as I would stop and converse about the day and his flying. Tragedies are something we never understand, but the time he was here on earth teaches us how one person can make a difference to so many people. My condolences to his wife and family.

Doug was always a good friend those he met and interacted with in his volunteer days and his LEO days. I remember him coming to 1st West Chester so many years ago. He brought energy to the company and was passionate about his service with us. His time with PSP was the same. Rest in peace my friend!
