Eleanor M. Kortze

1944 - 2016

Eleanor M. ""Bunnie"" Kortze, 71 yrs., of Honey Brook, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Brandywine Hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on August 19, 1944. Bunnie was the daughter of the late Francis & Eleanor (Kurtz) O'Neill. She was the wife of the late Walter R. Kortze, who passed away on October 31, 2008.
Bunnie was a R.N. for Chester County Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed sewing and was very artistic.
She was preceded in death by a son, Walter R. Kortze, Jr., a sister, Carolyn Anne Donaghue, a brother, Francis M. O'Neill, Jr., and 2 grandsons.
She is survived by her two sons; Jon Paul Kortze and Christopher Kortze, a daughter Jennifer Balliett, and three sisters, Barbara Ann Fieo, Patrice Marie Weil, and Margaret Anne Dewbinski. There are also 9 grandchildren.
A celebration of Bunnie will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 starting at 5PM at the V.F.W. Post #411, 321 E. Main St., Birdsboro, PA.
