Emery Miller Obituary

Emery L. Miller of Coatesville Emery L. Miller, 75, also formerly of Downingtown, passed away, August 8, 2012 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Born in Downingtown, he was the son of the late Emery Ferguson and Ella P. Miller. A veteran, he served in the United States Air Force veteran until he was honorably discharged. Emery had been employed as an engineer for Downingtown Waste and Sewage and has worked at Career Link in Coatesville and the OIC in West Chester. He was a past member of the American Legion in Downingtown. He enjoyed going to Nascar and spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves three sons, Adrian and wife Lisa Miller of Coatesville, Kriston Miller of Downingtown, Emery Flowers of West Chester; five daughters, Felisa Brown and Colleen Miller both of West Chester, Diahana Burgess, Robin Miller and Gail Gregory all of Coatesville; brothers John (Jack) Miller of Downingtown, Robert (Juice) of Florida; eight siblings; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Miller. Friends are invited to a one-hour visitation with the family 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, at the VA Medical Center All Saints Chapel, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd. in Coatesville. To the Family of Mr. Emery L. Miller.
My deepest condolences to the family. I had the opportunity to talk with Mr. Miller and share some thoughts on some books that I allowed him to use. I found him to be a devoted father and much love for his grands. My son Omar often shared words with me how he helped him when Mr, Miller was at the unemployment office.
