Our condolences to "Theo's" family and friends. We never met except through the Fairbanks News-Miner ArcticCam. Theo was always so positive, kind and caring. I hope the fishing is great. RIP Theo.

Romaine, we were very sorry to hear of Gene's passing. As you know, we became good friends while waiting for our new hearts and we've kept in touch all these years.

For "Theo" of the arcticcam - we were blessed to share a small part of your life, some ups and some downs. Your friendship made us better and hopefully our friendship did the same for you. Prayers for you and for your family. RIP cam friend.

Gene was a caring neighbor and friend to my parents, especially when they became ill. He was a special person.

I went to elementary and high school with Eugene. I graduated in 1959 from Harter High School. He was a friend then and in the last year I talked to him on the phone. I am sorry for your loss. Praying you will have peace and strength from the Giver of Life, our Lord and Savior Jesus.

I never met you in person but I did get to read what you posted on the arcticcam from the Fairbanks news miner newspaper. You always posted kind thoughts and kept us up to date on your illness. I'm sorry to hear of your passing. May god bless you and I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. You will always be remembered as "theo".
