Frank D. Parent

Frank D. Parent of Coatesville Frank D. Parent, 56, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Susan M. Phillips Parent, with whom he shared 7 years of marriage. Born in Wilmington, Del., he was the son of Marianne Beckett Parent of New Castle, Del. and the late William R. Parent, Sr. Frank lived in New Castle, Del. most of his life and was a 1974 graduate of the William Penn High School. After graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Adelphia Graphic Systems in Exton for the past 8 years. He is survived, in addition to his wife, by a stepdaughter, Lynn VanCox of Ithaca, N.Y.; five siblings, Michelle L. Parent of Charles Town, W.Va., William R. Parent Jr. and wife Kathy, of Hamburg, Pa., Suzanne L. Parent of Newport, Del., Mary, wife of Tim Holleran of Middletown, Del. and Cecilia, wife of Kenny Esposito of New Castle, Del.; and brother-in-law Joseph B. Schafferman of Middletown, Del. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Marie Schafferman. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, Nov. 13th, from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by the interment at Glen Run Cemetery, Atglen.
