Gail Cain Obituary

Gail Cain of West Caln Gail Cain, 79, of West Caln, formerly of Downingtown and Seminole, FL. passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2016 at Brandywine Hospital. She was the loving wife of George “Pete” Cain with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Haven Stanton and Camille Woodard. Gail was a 1954 graduate of Blue Ridge Joint Schools of New Milford, PA. In 1957 she graduated from Hahnemann School of Nursing in Scranton as a Registered Nurse. In 1976 she received her Bachelors Degree from Villanova University. She gave 30 years of service to the VA hospitals in Coatesville, Tampa, and Bay Pines. After retirement she worked part-time at Windmoor Hospital, Clearwater, FL. In addition to her husband, Gail is survived by two daughters, Lisa Williams (Dennis) and Laurie Ousey, two granddaughters, Shanon and Crystal, and three great-granddaughters, Mackenzie, Kylie, and Azlyn. Gail is also survived by one brother, Frederick Gene Stanton (Ruth) of FL. and was predeceased by one grandson, Dennis Williams Jr. Gail’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed making dolls, crafts and sewing. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of PA. Services will be private.
