Ira "George" Kasparian Sr.

Ira 'George' Kasparian Sr., formerly of West Chester Ira "George" Kasparian, Sr., 64, formerly of West Chester, died on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at home. He was the husband of Kathleen Lazer Kasparian, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Brockton, Mass., he was the son of the late George and Isabel Terzian Kasparian. He was a wonderful husband and father and a friend to many. In addition to his wife, George is survived by daughter, Kim Kasparian and a son, Matthew Kasparian both of Coatesville; a granddaughter, Michelle Marie Kasparian; a sister, Victoria Sforza of Havertown; an uncle, Kas; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Zachary Mark Kasparian and a son, Ira Kasparian Jr. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134.
