Nancy,
I am so sad to hear about Jim's passing, he was an awesome guy.
As you know I spent a lot of time on the phone and in person with him trading, snowmobiling, hunting, and sitting around the fire.
He was a great friend and I am better for knowing him.
He talked about and loved you and the family a lot.
I won't be able to make it to the fire station but I will have a bump in his honor.
You, Jim, and the family are in my prayers.
He will be missed,

Dear Nancy: I am so saddened about Jim's passing. He was one of the truly great guys I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. I had many conversations with Jim and greatly enjoyed his openness, honesty and pragmatic look at life. My prayers are with you at this very sad time.
Sincere regards, Jim Phillips

Dear Nancy,

Jim knew a lot about so many things. I used talk to him about shotguns (we both had Brownings) and our love of the outdoors. I envied his hunting excursions, although I wasn't a hunter. He did so much and touched so many lives. What more can one ask from life. You were lucky to have each other. My thoughts and prayers to you at this difficult time.
