I worked with Hoss at Burroughs in the mid-sixties and was fortunate to reconnect with him over the last few years.
I shared many of his diverse interests and we indulged a few of them when I visited him in February 2007: Longwood Gardens, the Helicopter Museum, Jimmy John's, old trains, and bluegrass. He visited me in Northampton in July 2008.
We always had still more things to talk about.

We are Larry's neighbor from directly across the street. My wife and I were very sad to hear of Larry's passing. We had known Larry for the 18 years that we lived on Norwood. Larry would always remember us by sending post cards whenever he traveled. I would enjoy our chats together whenever we would see each other. It is with our deepest sympathy and regards to all of Larry's family and friends. Truly, we will miss him. Our prayers are with you all.

Talked to Cousin Larry many years ago when investigating our common relatives and he proved very helpful. Eventually was able to meet Larry as he came by or stayed at our place in Haymarket, VA on his way to see David and Julie in SW Virginia. We always enjoyed his company and were able to share our common interest in music at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. Larry was a grand gentlemen with a zest for life that should be inspirational to us all. We will miss him greatly and remember him often and fondly.
