Mary Dolores Tandarich

Mary Dolores Tandarich of Coatesville Mary Dolores Tandarich, 94, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of George M. Tandarich with whom she shared 45 years of marriage at the time of his death in 1985. Born in Marguerite, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Agatha Puscak Rostich. Prior to coming to Coatesville, she was a member of St. Procopius Church in New Salem. Mary was a faithful member of St. Cecilia Church where she participated in the Cecilians and the Dust Busters. She also was a member of the Senior Circle, Lukens Veterans Guild and the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge. Mary’s life revolved around the care of her family with her good cooking, delicious baking, and Sunday morning breakfast. Surviving her are four sons, Bernard husband of Sharon; Regis, George husband of Mary Catherine and Gerald husband of Debra. She had 12 grandchildren, Mark, Gregory (Mary Ellen), Diane Barrett (Thomas), Brian (Tara), Michelle Prew, Michael (Katja), Alan, David (Samantha), Daniel, Marcia Joseph (Josh), Jon and Cheryl. Additionally, she had 17 great-grandchildren; Lauren, Megan, Michael (Ally), Kate Lynn, Mary Beth, Kelly Ann, Gregory, Jane, Thomas, Bradley, David, Bethany, Andrew, Michael, Ella, Coleman and Logan. She is survived by two brothers, William and Joseph Rostich; two sisters-in-law Kay Selak and Mildred Tandarich, several nieces and nephews and many close friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Carlson and Eva Rostich; a brother, Mathias Roscheck and a daughter-in-law, Karen Tandarich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 30 at St. Cecilia Church, 99 N. 6th Ave., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 29 and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30 at the Harris Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, Pa.
