Dear MK and family,
My condolences on Paul's sudden passing. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed. I hope a few stories about Paul may help bring some smiles to you during this difficult and sad time.
Paul and I grew up together in Berwyn and I knew him for over 50 years.
Paul taught me about high fidelity sound. He was the first person I knew who had a high end stereo system and eventually he bought a quadraphonic system - he beat home theatre sound by years! We spent hours listening to records in his room -I had never heard anything sound so good.
I was there when Paul had his first crush. Things seemed to be going well, until her parents sent her to an all girls catholic school. Paul claimed it was not his fault... The last time I remember seeing her, Paul and I saw her getting on a school bus with all these other girls all dressed in the exact same uniform, getting on the bus two by two with military like precision. I was in a hippie phase and found it horrifying. And there were nuns glaring at us, which was very scary. We hatched several plans to break her out of this school/prison, but none came to fruition.
In high school Paul and I made the tennis team together -and shortly thereafter we were kicked off the team together. Once again Paul claimed it was not his fault. This time he was partially right -it was really both of us. After Paul got his drivers license his dad let him (sort of) drive this great old MG that Paul and his dad always worked on. We had great adventures before, but that MG really expanded our horizons. One trip that I remember really well, we decided to "borrow" the MG to go to a Phillies game. We were not supposed to do either. I found us a "short cut" to get to the stadium. Some short cut. We were so lost. Years later, I will now admit that one was really my fault. We did however find a great pizza joint that also had amazing cheese steaks and meatball subs. We eventually got to the game in the 5th inning. I don't remember a thing about the game, but we had a blast getting there.
When I left Berwyn for college and then eventually a job in California, we saw each other less, but still always stayed in touch and visited when we could. When I last spoke to Paul, not long before he passed, we were talking about having Paul and MK come visit my wife and me in Hawaii. We decided to put it off until COVID was more under control. I am so sorry we will not get to have that adventure together. And I will miss him always.

I am not yet able to believe the reality of Paul's passing. Although I have only know Paul for six years, I have been friends with Mary Kay for over 40 years. The effect that Paul had on her life, and the life of her children, has been a beautiful thing to watch. Their six children blended in a remarkable way. Paul was down to earth and had a heart as big as the ocean. He looked out for everyone and always made you feel welcome and included. I was fortunate to be with Paul and Mary Kay on New Year's Eve to usher in 2022. It will be a special memory that will live with me forever. As the days and weeks pass, and Mark Kay and the family return to life's routine, I pray you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I was so saddened to hear about Paul’s passing. Thinking back over the 41 years I knew him, a flood of memories returned, and they reminded me of what a tremendous individual Paul was. He had a large influence on my life and career, as he did for so many others. You knew just by shaking his hand that Paul was a man of integrity (I always thought I had a firm handshake... ). My condolences, and may his family and friends always have fond memories of Paul.

MK and family, as an employee of Paul for many years, I have never worked for someone who truly embraced the hard work he put forward to build a successful company and always shared his appreciation to those of us who worked hard to carry out his endearing ethic of providing excellence in the field of AV. I will be forever grateful to be a part of Advanced AV and having the best boss imaginable.

Dear MK, Jason, Sara, Paige and the entire extended family:
Like you, I was shocked to learn of Paul's passing. Having just spent time with him in late October, I can tell you all how happy he was, how proud of his family he was and how much he was looking forward to new chapters in his life. Deepest sympathies on a loss that will never subside but hopefully, his love and memory will be a light forever.
He was a great friend and I loved him!
