Victor Kasacavage Obituary

Victor W. Kasacavage, a resident of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, Feb. 15, 2013, in Neighborhood Health Inpatient Hospice of West Chester with his loving family at his side at the age of 45.
Mr. Kasacavage was employed as a data center engineer with Juniper Network Co. of Sunnyvale, Calif. He was a Cisco Certified Intern Networking Engineer.
He was a 1985 graduate of Pennsbury High School, and attended Temple University, where he was a founding member of Delta Chi Fraternity, and Drexel University.
He was a member of The Viper Club of America. Victor was an avid race car driver in Pittsburgh International, Pocono Manor Race Way, Charlotte International and New Jersey Motor Sport. He was a ski instructor for 15 years at Jack Frost Ski Resort in the Poconos. He also enjoyed woodworking, tennis, golf, and was an avid Eagles fan. Most of all, Victor enjoyed being with his wife and children.
Born in Chester on July 27, 1967, he was the son of the late Anthony B. and Betty (Middleton) Kasacavage.
Surviving is his loving wife Diane (Kilgannon) Kasacavage; daughter Natasha, a fourth-grade student at Uwchlan Hills Elementary School; and son Nicholas, a kindergarten student at Uwchlan Hills Elementary School. He is also survived by brothers Alexis Kasacavage, and his wife Karen, of Chester Springs and their children Daniel and Allison, James Gourley, and his wife Rita, of Brookhaven and their children Rod and Jeff; a sister Nancy McCleaft, and her husband Edward, of Shinglehouse, and their children Ed, Brian and Jay; father-in-law and mother-in-law Paul and Linda (Dippolito) Kilgannon; brother-in-law: Jon Kilgannon and his wife Ivy; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home Inc., 305 Jefferson St., Swedesburg, Upper Merion. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, or from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to The Shine Foundation, 701 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
