William Baldwin

1928 - 2018

William C. Baldwin, 90 of West Chester, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Bellingham Retirement Community, West Chester, PA. He was the husband of the late Beverly Baldwin. Born July 19, 1928 in Downingtown, PA he was the son of the late Edwin D. Baldwin and the late Mary Carey Baldwin. William was a graduate of Downingtown High School Class of 1946 and Mercersburg Academy Class of 1947 and attended Bucknell University. He was the retired President and part owner of Independent Expositions, Ltd. and Reber-Friel Co. of King of Prussia. Mr. Baldwin held numerous positions within the Republican Party of Chester County, including founding the West Chester Young Republican Club. Mr. Baldwin was a charter member of the Chester County Hospital 1892 Society, as well as holding memberships in other hospital & county associations and foundations, including a lifetime membership to the Fame Fire Company, West Chester. William was a former member of West Chester Golf & Country Club, Bucknell Alumni Assoc., Penn State Alumni Association & Nittany Lion Club. He is survived by his children, Bryn A. Mutzig (Allen) of Berwyn, PA, Dawn B. Sabato (the late Frank) of Trooper, PA and Edwin D. Baldwin (Joan) of West Chester, PA; grandchildren Richard, Heather, Justin and Adrienne and great-grandson, Christopher.
