What a loss. I am stunned at this news. Andy was a close friend from Wooddale high school; we met when we went to a meeting where they introduced the new radio broadcasting program out at Craigmont. We were the only ones that signed up and carpooled out there for two years. I went off to college and Andy started grinding the radio career, and before long he was the morning drive king in Memphis. What a voice.
We reconnected years later thru social media and shared our experiences. He was happy in his move and proud of his kids; I can’t believe he is passed.
Jayson I’m trying to connect with you on Facebook and linked in. I can’t post on the Facebook announcements you made as they are closed. Id like to express my condolences, and I might could relate some funny stories to you about his early days in radio.

Drew and I have many memories. I am at a loss for words upon hearing of his passing.
To Jayson (his son), I am incredibly sorry for your loss. Drew was so proud of you. He loved you and your children to beyond measure. In September 2024, Drew shared his immense happiness, love, and devotion to becoming a grandfather.

Though you may be gone, your presence is felt in every cherished memory. I miss you beyond measure, Drew. "Your laughter echoes in the halls of my heart. I will miss our talks and will always remember our time in Nashville and Memphis. May you dance with the angels now.....

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends, and the comfort of the knowledge that Andy is with his Lord and Savior in heaven, Jesus Christ.
So very sorry for your loss. Andy will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May you cherish the wonderful and positive memories you had with your dad. May God bless you all.

Andy and I have been friends for many years, going back to our days as members of Bellevue Baptist Church. When Andy was caring for his mother in Munford, TN, I used to go to a dentist out there. Andy and I would usually meet for lunch on those days. I know he is in Heaven now and I will see him again when the Lord calls me home. Please keep his family in your prayers.
