Carolyn Clark Obituary

Carolyn Clark, age 73 of Cordova, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth J. Gordon and May Young Gordon. She is survived by her husband of 50yrs- Steve Clark of Cordova, daughter - Sara Clark of Bartlett, grandson -RJ Massey of Bartlett, sister- Catherine Pfeifer of Counce and cousin- Darnelle Podgorski of Cordova. Carolyn also known as 'CeCe' graduated from East High and attended the University of Memphis. She was a Respiratory Therapist as well as an ENT Dr's Assistant. She loved her family, had a huge heart and would do anything for her family and friends. She was always thinking of others over herself and rarely complained about anything. She enjoyed being around family and friends and going to the family Pickwick Lake cabin. She always loved some good Mexican food and her mini butter finger candy bar bites. To know her you couldn't help but to love her. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid." John 14:27 A graveside service will be held at 2pm May 28th of 2025 at Memphis Memory Gardens located at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134.

I am sorry to learn of the passing of my classmate Carolyn. I saw the obituary on May 25th, exactly 55 years to the day since our graduation ceremony for the East High School, Memphis, TN Class of 1970.
