Deloris Shaw Obituary

Deloris Shaw, 81, of Memphis Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. Deloris was born on Sunday, June 1,1941, in Sikeston Missouri to John and Virginia Diggs Halter.

On March 23, 1968, in Choctaw County, Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Garland D. Shaw. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2003. Deloris was employed with Gordon Trucking Company having worked until her retirement as an Administrative Assistant. After her retirement, she assisted her husband Garland with their rental property in Midtown Memphis.
She was a member of The Southaven Church of Christ in Southaven Mississippi.

Deloris is survived by her niece, Deloris Johnson and her husband Marty, and their children, Will and Lexi. Niece, Robbie Mode and her husband Victor, their son Nathan; brother, Bill Halter and his wife Betty; sister, Sharon Littlejohn; Sister-in-law, Betty Halter; Brother-in-law, Larry Shaw and his wife Linda; nieces and nephews, Keith Halter, Michael Littlejohn, Disnee Parks Raney, Kameron Parks, Angela Shaw and Deloris's dear friend, Linda Davis.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia, husband, Garland, brother, Charles Delane Halter and sister Tammy Parks.

Services will be performed by B.J. Clarke.
