Dennis Bailey Obituary

Dennis Bailey, 66, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and passed away on October 03, 2025, at the Shepherd Hospice Center in Southaven, Mississippi. The name may not mean much to some, but to his grandkids, "PopPop" meant the world. He wasn't a man of many words, and he didn't always have a smile on his face, but when he loved you, he loved you fiercely. Dennis worked from sunup to sundown every single day of his life and built up Aztec House Moving. He traveled all over, found men who were down on their luck, took them in, put them to work, and gave them a chance. He always made sure they had "water and bread", a place to live, and stayed clean. He mentored them and preached to them to help them become better men. He wanted them to succeed on their own. Dennis was truly an old soul. He worked hard and did everything that he could so that his spouse of 25 years, Molly, was spoiled and wouldn't have to worry about anything. They had a love like no other, frequently dancing in the living room and always taking care of each other; the kind of love that you hope to have one day. He is survived by his life partner, Mary "Molly" Harris. His siblings: Katherine Taylor, Thomas Bailey, and Billy Jack Bailey. His children: Jeremy, Jason, Jessica Landes (Michael), Michael "Mitch" Lickteig (Stacey), and Robert "Bobby" Lickteig (Crystal). His grandchildren: Briana, Victoria, Anystin, Adyson, Jeremy, Jagger, Kynslie, Caden, Callie, Kolton, Macey, Michael, Carson, and Addyson. He is preceeded in death by his mother, Mildred Mills; his father, Andrew Chesley Bailey; and his beloved aunt, Hildegard Mills.
