Donna Czarnik Obituary

Donna Marie Czarnik, age 89, of Lakeland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Donna was born March 1, 1936 in Olney, IL to Frank and Nadine Barche. She was a former, long-time employee at Carson Pirie Scott Department Store, Hammond, Indiana and later at Macy's (Wolfchase), Memphis. She was a member of The Life Church. She loved babies and served in the nursery at church for many years. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney or Hawaii with her family. Donna is survived by her children, Bob Czarnik (Lisa), Leann Beloshapka (Derrick), and Joe Czarnik; grandchildren, Ashlee Wood, Brent Beloshapka, Austin Beloshapka, Holly Barber, David Czarnik, and Kalei Czarnik; great-grandchildren, Adelaide Wood, Indy Wood, Bodhi Wood, Shiloh Beloshapka, Noble Beloshapka, Ophelia Beloshapka, Rowan Beloshapka, Nora Barber, Lydia Barber, and Clara Barber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Czarnik and her sister, Marilyn Mason. A visitation for Donna will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM at The Life Church - Austin Peay, 3683 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128. A committal service will follow at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Life Church at www.thelifechurch.com/give/donate. Select Gift Fund, Houston Levee, Vision.
