Dorothy Ledlow Obituary

Dorothy "Dot" Barfoot Ledlow Dot Ledlow, 77, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away at Methodist Germantown Hospital on February 25, 2025, after a five-year battle with cancer. Dot was born in Union, Mississippi, on August 12, 1947, to Blanche and Fred Barfoot. She graduated from Union High School in 1965 and East Central Community College in 1967. She was a legal secretary for 14 years in Tupelo, Mississippi, before moving to Memphis, where she was a realtor with Crye-Leike Real Estate. She was an active member of Germantown Presbyterian Church. Dot is survived by John Moll, her longtime companion, of Memphis; daughter, LaLisa Lindemann, and grandsons, Jon Kyzar, Luke, and Fox Lindemann, all of Vicksburg, Mississippi; one sister, Anne Rouse (Richard), of Germantown, Tennessee; one brother, Fred Allen Barfoot of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her parents and brothers Jack and John. She will always be remembered for her generosity and love of life. Services will be on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 2 p.m., with visitation at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis 38119.
