Douglas Jones Obituary
Doug served two tours in Vietnam before a 36-year career with FedEx. He was a loving husband to Nina, father to April and Eric, and cherished grandfather to Lilah, Amelia, Johanna and Kendall. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, he is survived by his brother Bob Jones and sister, Helen Jones.
An avid traveler, Doug had a deep love for the American Southwest, especially the Grand Canyon, which he hiked numerous times through his life. He found peace and adventure in its vast beauty and never tired of exploring its trails. He also found great joy in his faith and was a dedicated member of All Saints Episcopal Church.
A burial service with military honors will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veterans' charity of your choice.

I am deeply sorry to hear about Doug´s death on our Frayser Class of `69 site. Doug and I were dear friends from Georgian Hills Jr. High School. I last saw him at our Frayser class reunion. I stumbled across this and just wanted the family to know how sad I was to hear about this. I went to school with Doug and always thought he was a great friend. We're going to miss him big time.
