Henry DeSaix Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne Cooper DeSaix, three children, son Henry (Hank) Cooper DeSaix , (Stephanie), daughters Drenda Smeltzer Pullen (Tom) and Deborah (Debbie) Smeltzer Downes. His grandchildren, Abigail Downes, JT Pullen (Ashley), Clark Pullen (Abby) and Taylor Pullen. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, Andrew, Jack, Grayson, Hazel, Luke and Jude. Also survived by his sister, Claire DeSaix Simpson, brother in-law and sister-in-law Dr. Denny and Betty Gail Peters, a dear cousin, Jim Benner (Rosie) and many nieces and nephews.
Harry loved his Christian Brothers High School. For many years he organized the reunions for his class. He also arranged monthly meeting places for lunch for his class of 1957. He spent many hours talking to classmates all over the country to try to keep the class active and informed about what his classmates were doing.
There will be a private family burial.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Christian Brothers High School. 5900 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38120 or charity of the donors choice.

I am at a loss since we spoke just last week. Harry was my connection to all my classmates for all the years since graduation. It's like losing a family member. I know the Almighty is happy to have him.
