John would invite us to go flying out of Alton Civic airport. One of the times I went he flew us to Springfield IL, made friends with someone working at the airport and talked the guy into letting him borrow his car so we could drive to get dinner. He had a way with people that led to trust! This great guy will be sorely missed, Rest in Peace and enjoy your place in Gods Heavenly Kingdom! Ci vediamo! (Or Ciao!)
