John Blatt Obituary

John William Blatt, Jr. was born May 11, 1950 to John William and Elda Fenger Blatt in Memphis, TN. He died suddenly April 14, 2025. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School from Kindergarten through eighth grade. He was a graduate of Treadwell High School (class of 1968) and attended Memphis State. John worked for 35 years at Ace Appliance Company as a service technician until they went out of business. He went to work at Mid-America Appliance Parts where he retired just a few weeks ago. He loved his model trains, visiting with friends and going to the zoo. His laugh was very enjoyable. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosie; his daughter, Angie Hood (Scott); and his brother, Jimmy. He also leaves cousins, Don Fenger (Kansas City, MO), Al Fenger (Oxford, MS), Dena Elliott (Ridgeland, MS), Cheryl Beene (Olive Branch, MS). In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Immanuel Lutheran School in Memphis or Highland Heights Presbyterian Church.
