Kyle Turner King

1968 - 2021

Kyle Turner King, age 53, passed away Monday, October 11th, 2021, of complications due to Covid-19 at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. A resident of Memphis since 1972, Kyle was born in Nashville on September 15, 1968 to John and Norris (Turner) King. He was a graduate of Memphis University School in 1987 and attended the United States Military Academy prior to his graduation at University of Memphis in 1992, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Kyle was an Account Executive for Dell Technologies when he passed.

Kyle ran track and cross country in high school and held two state records. He had been a music lover since he was young, and spent his evenings and weekends listening to live music with friends. He was an adoring father to his only child, Reilly, and he loved travelling with her. When he wasn't traveling, he was playing golf with his father and friends, working on his cars, or playing with his two dogs. Kyle was a man of scripture and was involved in a men's Bible study. He was a social character who always made others smile; he will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Kyle left behind his daughter, Reilly King; his parents, John and Norris King; his older brother, Scott King; his grandmother, Fern "Irene" Turner; and his aunts, uncles, and many cousins, as well as his two dogs, Sugar Belle and Ginger.

The Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Redeemer Evangelical Church, 3100 South Houston Levee Road, Collierville, TN 38017. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. and the service will be immediately after the visitation at 2:00 P.M. The family asks all attendees to please wear masks.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Kyle's name to Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County or Lebonheur Children's Hospital.
