Mary Beatrice Nicholson

Mary Beatrice Nicholson, 73, of Memphis, TN peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side on October 13, 2025. A small graveside service will be held in her honor at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Mary was born in Austin, TX, to Ernest and Betty Collins (preceded her in death). Mary was the second oldest of eight children. She graduated from Manor HS. She met and married the love of her life, Nick. They were together for 28 years. They shared a love of motorcycles, traveling, and going to rallies together. Mary spent her married years as a devoted housewife, and mother. Mary was a past member and daycare worker of Woodlawn Baptist Church and Academy. She also worked Sundays at St. Anne's Episcopal Church. Mary loved to go to yard sales, play cards, put puzzles together, and play bingo. She was a past member at the Millington Senior Center, and a current member of the Raleigh-Millington Senior Center. Mary has found eternal peace and healing alongside her husband, Dennis (Nick) Nicholson, and her son James Nicholson. Along with those are her grandchildren, Michael Bantom and Elizabeth McIntyre. As well as her brothers, Billy, James Ray, and William Collins. Mary will be remembered always, and the memories she left us with will forever be cherished. She leaves behind her daughter, Tisha McIntyre (Ralph) of Memphis, TN; granddaughter: Ashley Stark (Tyler) of Arlington, WA; great-granddaughters: Aubrey and Isabel; siblings: Lee Collins of Bastrop, TX, Amy Cleveland (Gary) of Elgin, TX, Susan Dempsey of Elgin, TX, Patrick Collins of Shirley, AR.
