Patricia (House) Puckett was born to the union of John Milton House and Earnestine Rita House on August 18, 1941, Memphis Tennessee. Sister Puckett was affectionately known by her friends and close relatives as Patti.
Her parents, along with 3 siblings - Milton House, Jimmy House, and Rita Bagette - preceded Patti in death. Her surviving sibling, Frank House lives with his wife Rachel in Oakland, TN.
Patti graduated from Southside High School in
Memphis, TN.
To share her life, Patti wedded her beloved husband Lee Ray Puckett on August 3, 1972, and together they symbolized their dedication to Jehovah on the same date, October 7, 1973. Jehovah blessed Patti and Lee Ray with 2 children, Eddie and Leann.
Patti's love for Jehovah and the ministry grew to the point that she became a Pioneer, or full-time servant of Jehovah, in March 1993. She cherished this assignment for 32 years, till the day of her death on November 7, 2025. Pioneering was the love of her life. She was determined to stick with her assignment as a Pioneer and was often heard saying, "Take one day at a time."
For 52 years as a dedicated, baptized Witness of Jehovah, Patti served in the Hickory Hill and Millington Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Patti loved working jig-saw puzzles. She also loved pigs and her dog Buddy. One of her best friends in Louisiana described Patti as a loyal friend, not only to Jehovah, but to her family and friends. Almost every Sunday around 5 pm., by way of telephone, Patti would call her Louisiana friend to encourage her to stay faithful in her special assignment as a regular pioneer.
Patti sincerely believed in the resurrection of the dead and that, should she die on this side of Armageddon, Jehovah would call her from the grave and give her the opportunity to live forever in Paradise earth, where sickness and death would be no more. (Isaiah 26:19; Revelation 21:3, 4).
To mourn her death Patti leaves behind her beloved husband, Lee Ray Puckett (Arlington, TN); her son Eddie Puckett (wife Sherry, Mt. Juliet TN); her daughter Leann Beck(husband Scott, Brownsville, TN); 3 grandchildren – Alex Galbraith (wife Flora, Seattle Washington); Corey Galbraith (
