Shannan Casey Obituary
Born in Denver, Colorado on December 30,1970, Shannan moved to Memphis as a child with his parents Janice and Phillip and his brother Patrick. They settled in Midtown where Shannan attended Bruce Elementary and Grace St. Luke's. He graduated from Central High School in 1990.
He worked for FedEx for many years and continued his employment until his death. He made many friends there, having a positive attitude, and a ready smile.
Shannan loved football season. He was a devoted Pittsburg Steelers fan, and everyone knew not to bother him when his favorite team was playing. Shannan also enjoyed golf, camping and was an avid reader.
Shannan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Janice and Monroe Willis, Middleton TN; father and stepmother, Phillip and Laura Casey, Asheville, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Tiffany Casey, Memphis TN and brother Christopher Casey, Gallatin, TN.
Shannan was a kind and loving person with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
Please join us as we come together to honor and celebrate the life of Shannan Casey on July 22, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 pm at Occasions, 201 South Cooper Street, Memphis, TN. We invite you to share stories, laugh, and smile in memory of Shannan. Refreshments will be served.
Shannan was never one for formal attire nor being the center of attention, in that spirit, we welcome friends to attend in casual attire in Shannan's honor.
