Susan Ewing Obituary

Susan (Susie) Milligan Ewing passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021 in Memphis Tennessee.

Susie was born on October 6, 1953, in Memphis Tennessee, the second of seven children. She graduated from Memphis Catholic high school in 1971 and began her career in medical transcription soon after. She continued in the field for decades and became the executive administrative assistant to the president of the med.

Susie was loved by all who knew her, and she adored her children and grandchildren, who were always proud to call her mom and grandma. She was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, mother, and grandmother. An amazing, smart, funny and kind woman - she touched so many lives without even realizing it. She will be dearly missed.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie Park Milligan and William R. Milligan, as well as her brother Steven J Milligan. She is survived by her children Brett Harty and Shannon Ewing, her beloved granddaughters Lila Wilks and Kendall Harty, her brothers Mike Milligan, Billy Milligan, and Daniel Milligan; sisters Mary Horowitz and Anne Milligan, as well as her nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 12th from 5-7 pm at Canale Funeral Directors, 2700 Union Ave Extended, Memphis, TN 38112.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 13th at 10 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 706 S Highland St, Memphis, TN 38111, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
