Tammy Jan Bomar

Tammy Jan Bomar, age 67, of Whiteville, TN, peacefully passed, surrounded by her three children & loved ones, on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in Memphis, TN. Tammy was preceded in death by her significant other of 30 years, Tommy Lane; her parents, Emery & Hazel Spaulding; brother, Butch Spaulding; sisters, Kay Burge & Joy Wiginton; and grandson, Keith Bomar, III. She is survived by her three children, Michelle Patterson, Charity Laney, and Keith Bomar, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Wesley, Trevor, Jordan, Logan, Destinee, Brennan, and Aaden; four great-grandchildren, Camberleigh, Rhydian, Maverick & Ranger; and two sisters, Denise Smith & Patty Rook. Tammy was married, at 16 years of age, to her children's father, Keith Bomar, Sr., for 14 years and served together in Children's Ministry within the Church of God, as well as traveled extensively in Professional Rodeo. After their divorce, she resided with Tommy Lane, whom she dearly loved and shared 30 years together with. Together they ran Tommy Lane Painting Company and raced every weekend at local drag strips. Tommy raced a Chevrolet Nova called 'Bits & Pieces' and Tammy raced a Chevrolet Nova called 'Bits & Pieces too.' After Tommy's passing, she lived out her last five years with her significant other, Terry Hill. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and best friends, Jenny & Maymie. She was a loving wife, mom, Mamaw, sister, and friend.
