Terry Fink Obituary

Terry Lynn Fink (1964-2025) At the age of 61, Terry Lynn Fink, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on Wednesday September 10th in his home. He was born on September 9th, 1964 to Dale and Harry "Bo" Fink in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry "Bo" Fink, his mother, Dale Fink, and his brother, Barry Fink. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mimi, his three children - Haley (husband Jerrod Gray), Taylor, and Logan, as well as his three grandchildren - Nolan, Dallas, and Zoe. Terry was born and raised in Memphis where he attended Thrifthaven Elementary through 6th grade and later graduated from Graham Heights Academy in 1982. During the early years of his career, he served in various roles at Methodist North (attendant in the ER, office coordinator for the OR, and scheduling assistant for Radiology). After several years of being with Methodist, he then worked his way up to becoming the manager for outpatient scheduling where he ended his 43 years of service with Methodist Le Bonheur. He enjoyed the simpler things in life, like a nice drive with the windows down on a cool night and relaxing in his lazy boy recliner in the comfort of his home. He was an avid dog lover and over the years, he demonstrated an unwavering love for "a man's best friend." Most Saturday and Sunday mornings during the spring and summer months, he could be found putting on the greens with his golf buddies. During the winter months, he enjoyed a nice weekend camped out in the woods hunting. Terry was the type of person who would give the shirt off of his back to someone if they needed it. He was the friend you could always count on and would show up when he said he would. He never met a stranger and was willing to go the distance for those he loved. Anytime you saw Terry, you were welcomed by his smile and warm embrace. He was known for his devotion and loyalty to his family and friends and his legacy will live on through those who were touched by his life. Terry was a good man that I often had conversations with over the phone. We laughed and made light of stressful situations we had no control over. He was really a great guy and I'm going to miss him dearly. My last conversation with him was about how long he had to retirement and the things he wanted to do; it saddens my heart that he didn't get that chance. My condolences go out to all of his family and friends.

You left a huge void in our hearts. I will miss you more than you'll ever know. I pray you knew how much you meant to everyone that knew you. Rest in peace Terry. We'll miss you terribly and your Methodist team loved you. Work will never be the same.
