Victor Logan Parker Jr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Mason, Tennessee at the age of 70. Born on September 7, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee to Victor Parker Sr. and Bobbie Putman Parker, Victor lived a life filled with dedication, love, and service to his family.
Victor spent 14 years working for Lehman Roberts Construction and another 8 years at Whittington Paving. In 2005, he pursued his passion for craftsmanship and creativity by opening Munford Jewelers, which he successfully operated for a decade before retiring in 2015. His contributions to both construction and jewelry were marked by pride and integrity, reflecting his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
As a graduate of Fairley High School in Whitehaven, TN, Victor carried the lessons he learned into every aspect of his life. He was known for his loving and devoted nature—attributes that defined his role as a husband to Minnie Lou Parker.
A true lover of the outdoors, Victor found joy in hunting, fishing, and golf. He was not only a fan of the University of Memphis football and basketball teams but also actively participated as a member of the Board of Directors for the Argenta Cache River Hunting and Fishing Club, where he forged lasting friendships and memories.
Victor is survived by his wife, Minnie Lou Parker; his daughter, Rosanne Parker of Desoto County, MS, his step-son, Clay Biggs, Gloria and Abby of Arlington, TN; and his precious grandchildren, Bradley Parker and Savannah Kelley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor Parker Sr. and Bobbie Putman Parker, as well as his dear sister, Kathryn Smith.
Services for Mr. Parker will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, September 4th, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland, TN. A visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 P.M. and burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens in Memphis.
The family requests memorials be designated to the American Kidney Foundation,11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
