Vinson Jones Obituary
He was educated in the Memphis City Schools System and graduated in 1981 from White Station High School. Vince was employed at Carrier Corporation in Collierville, TN and worked for 22 years.
He departed his earthly life on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malinda Jones and Kimmit Luellen; one sister, Celestine Jones; one brother, Timothy Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Vincent Jones, Jr. and Ethan Jones; three brothers, Fred Jones, Raymond Jones and Lester Jones; four sisters, Bobbie Sumlar (Joe) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Dorothy Higgins (Thomas) of Collierville, TN , Shirley Johnson of Red Banks, MS and Deloise Jones of Olive Branch, MS and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at H.C. Jett-H.C. Ford Funeral Home, 203 Washington St., Collierville, TN 38017. Funeral service Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 p.m. at New Stinson Community Church, 230 Frazier Rd., Rossville, TN 38066. Interment in Charity Gardens Cemetery, 6570 Highway 57, Rossville, TN. Rev. Gregory Henderson officiating.
