Alice Murphy Richardson

Alice Richardson Obituary

HAMPTON - Alice Murphy Richardson, 85, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, Jan. 24, 2005. A native of Isle of Wight, Alice was a longtime Hampton resident and a member of Central United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt Richardson, Alice is survived by her sister, Kathryn Adams of Suffolk; brother, Herman Murphy of Concord, Calif.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, in Parklawn Memorial Park by Pastor Cheryl Simmons. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton.

My wife Lupe and daughter Michelle and I want to express our heartfelt condolences to all who knew our Aunt Alice, my Dad's sister. We thoroughly enjoyed the rich conversations at the dinner occasions last October.She was a joy to be with and we will certainly miss her kind and cheerful personality.

I will always remember Aunt Alice as a kind and gentle lady. I still remember well our time together after school when I was a little girl of 5. I will miss you!
