Allen LEACH Obituary

HAMPTON - Mr. Allen Leach Jr., 75, a native of Fayetteville, N.C., and a Hampton resident, was born on March 19, 1937. He peacefully passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
He retired from the United States Air Force, he also retired from the Patrick Henry Airport as the safety and security manager.
He was preceded in death by his son, Marques Leach.
He is deeply missed by his loving wife, Frances Leach; his daughter, Marcella L. Ray of Charlotte, N.C.; his sons, Eric (Melvena) Leach of Steelton, Pa., Allen Leach II (Kim Dabney) of Troy, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren and two that were very faithful and dedicated to him, Allen III and Marques Leach; and a numerous amount of great-grandchildren; his special cousins, Eddie Wilson (Mary) of Goldsboro, N.C., Raymond Wilson (Barbara) of Fayetteville, N.C., Barbara Blue (Eugene) of Phoenix, Ariz., John Howard McDean of Fayeteville, N.C.; two special aunts, Hortense Allen and Jane Phillips of Steelton, Pa.; his sister-in-law, Urcilla Wright of Etters, Pa.; and a host of extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th St. Newport News, VA 23607. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Christopher Wyckoff, officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Veterans Memorial Garden.

Dear Francis and Family:
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Allen truly loved and lived life to its fullest and he would want you to continue to remember the wonderful moments that God allowed you to share.
