Barbara Jean Beebe

Barbara Jean Beebe age 70 of Hayes died peacefully at her home on July 2, 2021. Barbara was born in Burlington, New Jersey on November 17, 1950, to the late Joseph Caruso and Elizabeth Fields Caruso. She was a caregiver to many and an inspiration to everyone's path she crossed. She was an active member of the Gloucester Moose Lodge for many years and most enjoyed hosting and assisting in organizing the Mr. Moosette Womanless Beauty Pageant with Karin Fary of The Giving Garden Foundation which, was dear to her heart. Barbara is survived by her son Paul Hopt and grandchildren Fantasia Eich (Scott Burr), Joshua Pierce, Jade Hambley (Matthew), and Skylar Hopt. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Declan and Tyrion Eich, Jayden Gott, Landon, and Jayce Hambley. Her brother Joe Caruso (Maizie) survives her, as well as best friends Teresa Cowan (Larry), Joanne Harlow (Jimmy), Diane Kell (Mike), Edith Dresch, and Judy Calloway (Bob). Husband of 45 years, Marriott Morris Beebe, daughter Bobbie Jo Culberston, brother Russell Caruso, and sister Joyce Wilson preceded Barbara in death. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gloucester Moose Lodge 886 on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at 11:00 am for family and friends to attend. In memory of Barbara Beebe the family desires donations be given to The Giving Garden, P.O. Box 1421 Hayes, VA 23072 in her name. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home and Crematory, Gloucester Point.
