Condolences to entire Slaughter family on the loss of one of the most saintly women I have ever know. Her dedication to her Lord, her family and her friends was extraordinary. Having known her since I was a child I mourn her passing but I celebrate her new life in the presence of her God. She lived her life to this end, to celebrate with Saints gone on before celebrating around the throne.

Barbara was an amazing lady. She was a faithful friend
and neighbor to my sister, Jeanette Hall as well as many others that she did so much for. She drove Jeanette to doctors appointments and anywhere else she needed to go. She would run through their back yards to check on Jeanette to make sure she was ok. After Barbara moved to Warwick Forest she would always be there to listen to "The Heart Throbs" from Liberty Baptist. I enjoyed the time talking with her every time. God bless this wonderful Lady.

Barbara was a constantly moving dynamo taking care of family, friends, &church members. We will miss her, her laugh, her energy and her wisdom. She is now with her husband and family that has gone on before. May she rest in eternal peace.
