To the Family,
Dr. Holmes gave me my first job in the 80's fresh out of college. I was Dr. Holmes first Office Manager. We later aquired Dr. Ford. Two men that made a substantial impact on my life. I am so sorry to hear of this great loss. May God keep you all in his arms of protection.

Mrs. Holmes, I will never forget the kindness you both showed towards me. You had never met me but I worked alongside your husband in the hospital for some years. This was on your personal time, while you all were out shopping that he took the to share some words of wisdom to help me further my military career. I will never forget that. That the kind of person he was never too busy to help!!!God Bless the Holmes family.

I met Bert when he first came to Va. National Guard as a Captain..he was my friend and I will miss him and our long talks... my condolences to his family. May the Lord bless and keep him.

Dr. Bert Holmes and my brother Marshall Hinton were friends in college. Bert made many visits to our home and I will remember the respect he always showed to our parents. Prayers of comfort from our family are offered to the family and friends.
