Due to Covid-19 precautions, a celebration of Carla's life will be held during a graveside service at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 12:00 noon. Masks are required.
Memorial donations on behalf of Carla T. James can be made to the Sheltering Arms Foundation, P. O. Box 91758, Richmond, Virginia 23291-1758.

I offer my sincere condolences to Carla's family and friends. Carla was so special to me and of course funny and smart. She would always tell me " Go sit down somewhere" lol that was our thing. I will truly miss her...this one really hurts. I know without a doubt she is in heaven..that gives me peace.
