Charles Meekins Obituary

TOANO - Charles E. "Flashlight" Meekins entered into eternal life on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, in the Hospice Support Care House of Williamsburg.
He was born on July 18, 1960, the son of Judia W. Meekins and the late Curtis Meekins.
He leaves to cherish and treasure his memories, his mother, Judia W. Meekins; his son, Charles Reed; his sisters, Judy Gilbert (David), Queen Meekins (Alphonzo); Linda Rivers (James); Patricia Moore (Robert) and Charlotte Meekins (William); his brothers, Albert Cowles (Frances), Curtis Meekins (Valarie) and David Meekins; his nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other loving relatives and a host of caring friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in Whiting's Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Wynne officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Friday. Professional services entrusted to the Staff of Whiting's Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Virginia. 757-229-3011.
