DeVoris DICKERSON Obituary
DeVoris graduated from Heritage High School.
Left to cherish their memories of him are his daughter, Taioma Jackson; son, Ny'-Jae Dickerson; his father, Thomas Dickerson; mother, Gail Melvin; sister, Evany Dickerson; a host of relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Dickerson will be noon Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Restoration and Faith Ministries, 2414 Wickham Ave., Newport News, with Pastor Thurman Leonard officiating and Bishop L.W. Francisco III as Eulogist. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Dickerson will lie in state two hours prior to service at Restoration and faith Ministries. Viewing for Mr. Dickerson will be held from noon to 4 p.m. today, at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, 3314 Roanoke Ave., Newport News, Va.

I watched you grow from a lil boy to a young man. I will never forget the day when I seen you out Ridley circle walking with a cute Lil baby girl I asked you who baby did you steal and you replied she was yours I was so shocked cause I could still picture you in the back yard/field playing football with your cousins and friends out 21st in Dickerson Courts.
